The US Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs praised, in a statement, the Lebanese judge investigating Beirut Port blast, calling on the Lebanese government to protect him.
The statement hailed the integrity of the judge, adding that he has been serving his country for over a decade.
The US Senate statement amid lawsuits filed against the over the legitimate suspicion in light of his insistence on issuing arrest warrants in accordance with vague standards.
It is worth noting that the United States has rejected to provide Lebanon with satellite images of Beirut blast. The US stances, moreover, have always contradicted with the Lebanese national interests.
