House Speaker Nabih Berri called on Friday for a parliamentary session aimed at discussing the ministerial policy statement and voting on granting confidence to the new government.

The parliament is scheduled to convene on Monday at UNESCO Palace in two morning and evening sessions.

It is worth noting that the new Lebanese government unanimously approved its policy statement in a session that was held on Thursday at Baabda Palace.
