The commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps highlighted on Saturday the military capacities of Lebanese Resistance movement Hezbollah, warning the Zionist entity that any mistake resulting in another war will wipe out the occupation regime.
In a meeting with Hezbollah Deputy Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem, held in Tehran, IRGC Commander Major General Hossein Salami said Hezbollah’s recent retaliatory strike in Shebaa Farms on Friday action gave a warning to the new Israeli prime minister and revealed that nothing has changed in rules of engagement with the Zionists.
“The capacities for the dissolution of the Zionist regime are available at present. In case of any mistake, the future war will mark the war of their (Israel’s) death,” he warned.
The commander cautioned that if the “engine of Hezbollah revs up”, Zionists will have to flee the occupied territories.
General Salami said Hezbollah’s capabilities in battlefield, especially during any ground invasion will force the Zionists to escape.
“The Zionists have an accurate awareness of this fact, that if the engine of Hezbollah is activated, they must certainly flee from the occupied lands, because the new character of Hezbollah is a militaristic one, which constitutes the force on the ground. If it moves, it will lead to a domino effect,” Salami was quoted as saying by Iranian media.
He reaffirmed the Islamic Republic’s support for the Lebanese Resistance and Hezbollah, which he said is “beyond a mere military force.”
Sheikh Qassem has been in Tehran to take part in oath taking ceremony of new Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi.
