Two rockets were launched from the Gaza Strip at the occupied territories overnight between Saturday and Sunday, with the Iron Dome failing to intercept them, Israeli media reported
The occupation army said the rockets targeted the southern city of Ashdod and the central city of Rishon Letzion.
Israeli army activated the Iron Dome missile defense system “at targets in accordance with policy,” but failed to intercept the rockets, which fell in open areas, Haaretz Israeli daily reported.
One of the rockets did not trigger sirens while the other caused them to sound in Ashdod and the Shfela region in the south-center of the Zionist entity as well as in the so-called Kibbutz of Palmachim.
The occupation military struck several targets inside the Gaza Strip, claiming it has targeted an underground facility and military positions, an army statement said.
The video below, circulated on social media, shows flair of the rockets launched from Gaza strip.
