Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah said that the Saudi regime has been antagonizing resistance movements in the region, lashing out at Riyadh’s interference in other countries’ issues.
In an interview with the office for preservation and dissemination of the works of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei, Sayyed Nasrallah said that ruling regime of Saudi Arabia has got very old and is spending the last stages of its lifetime.
“Al Saud regime is old and may be in the final stages because of natural reasons: oppression throughout the last 100 years, looting people’s money, the growing corruption, suppression of freedoms and monopolizing power,” Sayyed Nasrallah said in the interview aired by Iranian Al-Alam TV channel on Sunday evening.
His eminence said then: “However, the thing which will expedite the collapse of this regime is the performance of the current rulers.”
Sayyed Nasrallah referred to Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman’s war on Yemen by saying: “crimes committed in Yemen will affect the future of Saudi Arabia.”
“We currently see for the first time that ‘Death to Al Saud’ slogan is being chanted in several Arab countries, and we see political and popular powers and governments that take explicit stances toward Al Saud and its interference in the region.”
Hezbollah S.G., meanwhile, blamed Saudi Arabia for the tension with Iran, saying it was Riyadh who started the animosity due to the Islamic Republic’s support for Palestinians and the resistance movements in the region.
Sayyed Nasrallah also pointed to Saudi’s performance with the US administration, stressing that such policy of paying money to Washington “showed Saudis’ ultimate humiliation” in front of President Donald Trump.
On the other hand, Sayyed Nasrallah stressed that Iraq’s religious leadership’s stance along with the continuous support by the Islamic Republic of Iran played major role in defeating ISIL Takfiri group.
In this context, his eminence noted that such Takfiri terrorists are created by the US administration in a bid to sow discord and sedition among Iraqi people.
