Al-Manar TV correspondent in South Lebanon, Ali Shoaib, reported that “following the statement by UNIFIL forces regarding the Israeli violation in building the concrete wall in the area of Mount Hermon, opposite the town of Yaroun, specifically between the points BP43 and BP18(1), the Lebanese army requested the formation of a joint investigation committee to conduct a new field survey of the area where the wall is being built near the borders of Yaroun town.”
He added that “the Lebanese army is monitoring the construction of the wall, recording a series of violations carried out by the enemy’s machinery and bulldozers during the construction operations in the occupied territories, where these machines are conducting excavation work in Lebanese territory and dumping rubble in it.”
UNIFIL (United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon) announced that the concrete wall erected by the Israeli occupation army southwest of the town of Yaroun has crossed the Blue Line and made more than 4,000 square meters of Lebanese territory unavailable to the Lebanese people.
