A motorbike exploded in front of Jordan’s military mission in Paris on Wednesday morning, Jordan’s Foreign Ministry said.
Ministry spokesman was quoted as saying by the Jordanian state-run Petra news agency that no staff at the mission were injured.
Abdallah Alolaimat, a consular official at the Jordanian Embassy in Paris, told The Associated Press that the explosion hit Wednesday morning in front of the Jordanian military attache’s office on the chic Avenue Foch in western Paris.
He said it is unclear whether anyone was injured or whether the explosion was accidental.
Police and ambulance crews rushed to the scene along with firefighters.
The French interior ministry confirmed the explosion but do not yet know the cause of the blast.
