On the first anniversary of 2024 Israeli ware on Lebanon, the Islamic Resistance Military Media started issuing an episodic documentary that highlights the various aspects of the Battle of the Formidable in Might.
Hezbollah Military Media affirmed that the series would not be just a presentation of events, but a historical document. Through daily episodes, it records the heroism of men who, with their blood and steadfastness, inscribed shining chapters in the history of resistance.
Battle of the Formidable in Might is the story of those who were never defeated, but who, with their blood, forged a memory of glory and immortality that will remain alive.
Day 55| Saturday, November 16, 2024
In response to Israeli aggression and in defense of Lebanon and its people, the Islamic Resistance carried out 26 military operations on Saturday, November 16, 2024. These operations targeted sites, barracks, settlements, and concentrations of Israeli forces at the Lebanese-Palestinian border with missiles and artillery shells.
On the ground front, in a special operation, mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance ambushed Israeli army forces advancing at the eastern outskirts of the town of Shimaa. When the enemy force reached the ambush point, the mujahideen attacked and clashed with them at close range, causing confirmed hits among the enemy forces.
The Islamic Resistance also targeted a Merkava tank at the eastern outskirts of Shimaa with a guided missile, causing it to burn and resulting in casualties among its crew.
The mujahideen targeted concentrations of Israeli forces in the vicinity of the towns of Markaba and Maroun al-Ras with rocket barrages, achieving confirmed hits.
The rocket force in the resistance launched several rocket barrages at military bases, settlements, and cities in northern occupied Palestine, including the “Shraga” base (the administrative headquarters of the Golani Brigade) north of the occupied city of Acre, and the new headquarters of the Western Brigade in the “Yaara” base.
As part of the “Khaibar” operations series, the city of Haifa was the target of a special operation by the rocket force in the Islamic Resistance, which targeted five major military bases in the occupied city with large numbers of precise missiles.
The air force in the resistance also launched a drone attack on the headquarters of the “Shayetet 13” special naval unit in the “Atlit” base, south of the occupied city of Haifa, accurately hitting its targets.
The air force targeted gatherings of Israeli forces in the settlements of Avivim and Yir’on, and in the vicinity of the “Al-Abad” site, north of occupied Palestine, with swarms of drones, accurately hitting their targets.
In response, Israeli media reported an explosion caused by a drone in a building in the city of Nahariya, and a direct hit on a building in the Western Galilee.
The Israeli army announced the death of a soldier from the 13th Battalion of the Golani Brigade during a battle in southern Lebanon.
According to the Israeli army radio, Hezbollah launched over 130 rockets and 5 drones towards the north.
On this day, sirens were sounded 22 times in various areas of northern occupied Palestine, concentrated in the settlements of the Upper Galilee and the Galilee Panhandle, and along the coastal strip from Rosh Hanikra in the north to south of Haifa in the south.
Hezbollah Military Media published a video showing rocket attack on Tirat Carmel Base. The attack took place on Friday, November 15, and employed Nasr-1 missiles, according to the video.
