An Israeli glider dropped a sonic bomb on a group of residents visiting the border town of Al-Dhahira, according to an Al-Manar correspondent in South Lebanon, who added that the enemy’s artillery fired a smoke shell at the center of Adaisseh border town.

In a separate incident, Israeli artillery targeted a UNIFIL infantry unit at 6:30 AM in the Sarda area, south of the town of Al-Khiyam, South Lebanon.
The correspondent reported that the attack was launched from a new Israeli military site inside Lebanese territory on the Hammamص hill.
UNIFIL announced that an Israeli Merkava tank fired at its forces near a UN site inside Lebanese territory. The statement said that heavy machine gun bullets hit about 5 meters away from a group of UNIFIL soldiers who were walking in the area, prompting them to take cover for their safety.
The Lebanese Army denounced, in a statement, the Israeli attack on the UNIFIl force, affirming coordinating efforts with the “friendly states” to stop the Israeli violations which represents a serious escalation.
This aggression is a new breach of Lebanese sovereignty and UN Security Council Resolution 1701, which regulates the operation of UNIFIL forces in the south and obliges the Israeli side to stop any aggressive actions inside Lebanese territory.
