Member of Loyalty to Resistance parliamentary bloc, Dr. Hasan Fadlallah said that the Israeli enemy is practicing a policy of maximum pressure through daily killings against citizens, especially in the south, and against civilian facilities. He added that the resistance is facing a military, security, political, financial, and media war led by the Israeli entity and supported by the world’s most powerful countries, with the aim of defeating it.
“However, the resistance remains steadfast because it is based on faith in God and a strong and united people who are willing to make sacrifices.”
During a tribute ceremony held by Hezbollah for the martyrs of the town of Ansar, in the presence of the families of the martyrs, clerics, and officials, Fadlallah said that this people will not be defeated, and that despite the history of invasions, they have remained steadfast in their land. He emphasized that the current stage requires a national stance that includes the state taking full responsibility for protecting sovereignty, security, and preventing aggression, using all possible means and methods.
He added that every positive and responsible stance taken by state institutions or officials will be met with positivity, and that what is required today is for the state to build on its positions to take full responsibility in confronting Israeli aggression. He pointed out that the enemy is trying to push people to leave the south, especially in the front-line areas, by targeting civilians and facilities.
Fadlallah said that the file of reconstruction is the responsibility of the state, and it is capable of taking practical steps despite the external siege that prevents reconstruction. He noted that the resistance has fulfilled its duty, which is originally the responsibility of the state, in terms of protection and care.
He said that the resistance is based on a strong, united environment that is committed to the political line of Hezbollah, Amal Movement, and a group of loyal and sincere allies from different sects and regions. He pointed out that the financial, political, and media targeting of this environment aims to separate it from the resistance, but it will remain steadfast and united.
MP Fadlallah also said that one of the internal battles taking place today in Lebanon is the battle of besieging this environment and preventing it from being a real partner in the state. He noted that the electoral law is being used to control the parliament and exploit the results of the Israeli aggression on Lebanon to rearrange the power structure.
He stressed that Hezbollah, Amal Movement, and their allies will remain steadfast in their position, despite the attacks and incitement, and despite attempts to stage an internal political coup. He emphasized that these forces have gone through difficult experiences and know the price of sacrifices.
