The commander-in-chief of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has declared that its naval forces are on full alert, prepared to deliver a “firm response” to any hostile action by enemies in the Persian Gulf or against its islands.
Major General Mohammad Pakpour issued the stern warning during an inspection of the IRGC Navy’s combat-operational units stationed on the strategic Persian Gulf islands. He emphasized that the operational units maintain the highest level of combat readiness.
“If the enemies make any [threatening] move in the sea and on the islands, they will receive a firm response,” General Pakpour stated.
The senior commander drew a direct parallel to recent history, recalling how the Iranian Armed Forces, during a recent “12-day imposed war,” successfully brought the “Zionist regime and the United States to their knees.” He vowed that the IRGC Navy would replicate this decisive posture with full readiness against any new maritime threats.
General Pakpour further asserted that the enemy’s primary fear stems from the unparalleled moral power and courage demonstrated by Iranian forces.
Iranian forces targeted military and intelligence sites in the occupied territories after ‘Israel’ launched a blatant act of aggression against Iran on June 13, with the green light from the United States.
The Israeli terrorist assault triggered a 12-day war that killed at least 1,064 people in Iran. On June 24, the Islamic Republic, through its successful retaliatory operations, managed to impose a halt to the Israeli-US aggression.
