Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has forcefully denounced the United States and ‘Israel’, labeling their long-standing justifications for threatening Iran’s nuclear facilities as a “heinous lie.”
In a public statement, the Foreign Minister pointed to recent, high-level international corroborations of Iran’s peaceful nuclear intentions. He cited the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, who affirmed at the United Nations that Iran is not and has never sought to develop nuclear weapons.
In the past 48 hours, the heinous lie that the unlawful Israeli and U.S. bombing of Iran was motivated by an imminent nuclear threat has been thoroughly debunked by

The Minister also highlighted the support of Omani Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, a key diplomatic intermediary, who has consistently stated that an Iranian “nuclear threat” never existed.
“Those who blew up the negotiating table did,” the Abbas Araghchi stated, asserting that it was the US and ‘Israel’, not Iran, who undermined diplomacy. He contended that these independent testimonies expose the unfounded nature of the US-Israeli narrative, which they have used to legitimize unlawful actions and military threats against Iran.
Araghchi characterized the alliance’s aggression as an attack on diplomacy itself, driven by Israel’s fear that its campaign to demonize Iran would fail.
In a statement issued on Thursday, Araghchi condemned the US for its longstanding criticism of Iran’s peaceful nuclear program while simultaneously resuming its own atomic weapons tests, actions he claims violate international law.
“Make no mistake: The US is the World’s Most Dangerous Proliferation Risk,” Araghchi stated, arguing that the resumption of nuclear tests poses a serious threat to international peace and security.
