Hamas Palestinian resistance group published on Saturday a “farewell image” showing the remaining Israeli captives held in Gaza as the missing navigator Ron Arad.
Hamas’s Al-Qassam Brigades published the “farewell picture”, holding Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu responsible for their coming fate because of his decision to move ahead with the invasion of Gaza City, and his refusal to reach a ceasefire agreement.
“Because of [Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu’s refusal, and [Israeli Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal] Zamir’s capitulation, a farewell image as the military operation in Gaza City begins,” the image’s text read.
In the image, all the hostages are named Ron Arad, with numbers, in reference to an Israeli Air Force navigator who has been classified as missing since 1988.

In the Zionist entity, his name has become synonymous with a “missing soldier” or unresolved prisoner case.
Hamas calling the Israeli captives Ron Arad is a clear message that Israel might never recover them or learn their fate.
