Hezbollah denounced the Israeli aggression on Yemen, affirming that the attack which hit several targets including offices of two newspapers and killed dozens of Yemenis reflects bankruptcy of Zionist Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
In a statement, Hezbollah’s Media Relations Department said the attack on media, which targeted September 26 and Yemen newspapers in the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, is not new.
“This brutal and treacherous aggression against the media and journalists is not new as the Israeli enemy has always tried to cover up its crimes. It reflects the bankruptcy of the terrorist Netanyahu, who is now searching for any illusory victory to save himself from the quagmire of failure and defeat,” the statement read.
It added that Netanyahu “has failed to eliminate the resistance or stop its operations in Gaza and the West Bank,” adding that “he despaired of deterring the Yemeni resistance or weakening its resolve to continue supporting Gaza.”
Hezbollah’s Media Relations expressed “full solidarity with the Yemeni resistance media,” and called on media institutions, professional unions, and Arab and international human rights organizations to condemn this aggression and take legal action against the Zionist entity in a bid to press it to stop the attacks on journalists and media staff.
At least 35 Yemenis were martyred and 131 others were injured as the Israeli enemy attacked Sanaa and Al-Jawf on Wednesday.
In Gaza, Israel bombed 191 media offices and killed at least 245 journalists.
