A hostile Israeli drone targeted a car on Tuesday morning near the Zaroot neighborhood mosque, located between the towns of Jiyeh and Barja in the Iqlim al-Kharroub region.
MP Bilal Abdullah commented on the Israeli aggression, confirming in a radio interview that he had contacted security services. He stated that the area is a densely populated residential zone near the town of Barja, close to Jiyeh. He noted that “this attack indicates that ‘Israel’ is not sparing any area in Lebanon, is targeting Lebanese citizens, and is not adhering to the ceasefire.”
In his remarks, MP Abdullah explained that “there is a kind of Israeli chaos in the region, which requires international controls if there are to be serious efforts to achieve stability.”
