Hezbollah’s and Amal Movement’s educational departments held on Saturday a meeting to coordinate the preparations for the start of the scholastic year 2025-2026, calling on the ministry of education to enhance the normal embark of the educational year in South Lebanon.

In a joint statement issued after the meeting, the conferees called on the Lebanese government and ministry of education to start the reconstruction of schools destroyed by the Israeli war on Lebanon.

The statement called for organizing the contracts of the Lebanese University professors and public schools teachers in order to sustain the quality of the public education and improve the living conditions of the educators in face of the economic crisis.

Furthermore, the statement warned against the foreign attack on the national sovereignty and the public institutions, including the schools and universities, urging the ministry of education to keep in contact with all the parties concerned with the teaching process in order to cope with the emerging obstacles.

The statement started with highlighting the anniversaries of the disappearance of Imam Sayyed Moussa Al-Sadr and the martyrdom of the Master of the Umma Martyrs Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah and Sayyed Hashem Safieddine, underlining the crimes against those great leaders.
