A devastating series of Israeli strikes across the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours has resulted in significant civilian casualties, including the deaths of at least 76 people since Friday dawn, according to Palestinian medical sources.
The deadliest incident occurred in the Asdaa area, north of Khan Yunis, where artillery shelling struck tents housing displaced people. The attack killed 17 individuals, including children and infants, raising the total death toll from the incident to 19.

Further north, in the Maghazi refugee camp, several Palestinians were wounded by an Israeli drone strike targeting a house near the Al-Muhajireen Mosque.
The humanitarian crisis deepened south of Wadi Gaza, where shelling of civilians gathered at an aid distribution point killed two people and wounded 26, according to a statement from Al-Awda Hospital in Nuseirat. Nine of the critically wounded were transferred to Al-Aqsa Hospital for urgent care.

Toll of Israeli Genocide
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza released updated casualty figures, painting a grim picture of the ongoing Israeli war. The total death toll since the war began on October 7, 2023, has now reached 62,263, with 157,365 wounded.
A significant portion of these casualties has occurred in recent months. Since March 18, 2025, 10,717 people have been killed and 45,324 injured.
The ministry also provided stark numbers related to the access to aid, stating that 2,060 people have been martyred and over 15,197 wounded while seeking sustenance since the aggression began. Furthermore, the number of Palestinians who have died from starvation has risen to 274, among them 113 children.
