On the 676th day of the Israeli war, Gaza medical authorities reported fresh deaths from both bombardment and starvation as attacks on homes and aid-seekers intensified across the Strip.
Nasser Medical Complex announced the death of a child from malnutrition, blaming “systematic Israeli starvation,” the lack of medical treatment and a blockade it said has accompanied what it called genocide over 22 months. The Gaza Ministry of Health said five people — including two children — died from starvation and malnutrition in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of starvation victims to 227, including 103 children.
