Israeli occupation carried out on Monday reprisal measures at King Hussein (Allenby) Bridge Crossing a day after a shooting killed 3 Israelis at the crossing in response to Israeli oppressive aggression in the West Bank.
Israeli media reported that the crossing was closed to trucks and that it reopened only to pedestrians, a day after a Jordanian truck driver killed three Israelis at the King Hussein Bridge crossing.
Jordanian authorities also said the crossing will remain closed until further notice. It was previously hoped that it would be reopened at 10am which is this hour but that has not happened.
Jordanian and Palestinian media reported that Palestinian people were stranded as the crossing remained closed until further notice.
The truck driver, who was martyred by Israeli security forces was identified by Jordanian media as Maher Dhiab Hussein Al-Jazi, 39, from the southern Jordan town of Udhruh, east of Petra.

Israeli representatives from the Shin Bet and Israeli occupation military met with their Jordanian counterparts at Allenby on Sunday evening to coordinate continued operations after the attack, according to the Israeli Kan broadcaster.
According to the report, the two sides discussed how to improve security conditions at the border crossing and shared information that could help with the investigation into the attack.
The crossing, also known as the Allenby Bridge, is the West Bank’s sole crossing with Jordan.
Israeli media slammed that “it took some 14 hours for Jordan’s Foreign Ministry to issue a statement containing a brief condemnation” of the shooting attack, according to the Times of Israel.
Also on Sunday, thousands of Jordanians celebrated on the streets of Amman, saying the Al-Jazi had avenged the deaths of thousands of Palestinians in the Israeli war on Gaza.
