In resolute support of the people of Gaza and in defense of Lebanese territories, Hezbollah’s Islamic Resistance executed a series of strategic operations on Thursday. Foremost among these was the inclusion of the Shamir Israeli settlement on its target list, which was bombarded for the first time with a salvo of Katyusha rockets.
The group’s military media issued a series of statements outlining the attacks and their outcomes:
First Operation
The initial statement reported that on Thursday, August 15, 2024, at 09:10 a.m., the Islamic Resistance’s fighters directly hit the Ma’ayan Baruch Israeli occupation site with artillery shells.
Second Operation
Third Operation: Aerial Attack
The third statement declared that, in response to the Israeli enemy’s assaults on the resilient southern villages and civilian homes, particularly the town of Abbasiya, Hezbollah’s fighters launched an aerial attack on Thursday. A squadron of attack drones targeted the Israeli site at Khirbet Ma’er, precisely striking Zionist officers and soldiers and successfully hitting their designated targets.
Fourth Operation: Shamir Settlement Added to Target List
In response to the Israeli attacks on southern Lebanese villages, particularly the assault on the city of Marjayoun, which resulted in injuries to civilians, Hezbollah included the Israeli settlement of Shamir in its fire zone on Thursday and bombarded it for the first time with a barrage of Katyusha rockets.

Fifth Operation
At 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, Islamic Resistance fighters targeted the Israeli enemy’s artillery launchers in Al-Zaoura in the occupied Syrian Golan with a barrage of Katyusha rockets.
Sixth Operation
The sixth statement indicated that at 6:15 p.m., the group’s fighters targeted the Ruwaisat Al-Alam Israeli site in the occupied Lebanese Kfar Shouba Hills with appropriate weaponry, achieving a direct hit.
Seventh Operation
According to the seventh statement, at 5:40 pm, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted the Al-Marj Israeli site with appropriate weapons, scoring a direct hit.
