An Israeli settler in his 40s was injured in a stabbing operation near the city of al-Khalil, Israeli media reported. The incident took place near the illegal settlement of “Kiryat Arba” and witnesses say the car carrying the wounded settler and two female passengers was first shot before the driver was stabbed.
The person who carried out the operation was reportedly able to flee, leaving behind a gun, knife, and vehicle. Israeli occupation police are currently in pursuit of the perpetrator with the help of a helicopter.
This operation comes after an illegal Israeli settler was seriously injured in a stabbing incident in the settlement of “Gilo” just a few days prior. Israeli authorities suspect one or two Palestinians are responsible for the attacks.
As “Israel” intensifies and escalates its attacks on the Palestinians, acts of resistance have continued in the West Bank and Al-Quds. In the past few weeks, six illegal settlers have been injured while five Palestinians have been martyred.
During the period between July 7 and 13, the Palestinian Information Center documented 182 acts of resistance, including 15 shootings, two rockets launched, and two stabbing or attempted stabbing operations.
