Sirens wailed in northern occupied Palestine on Wednesday, as Hezbollah hammered Israeli targets in the largest rocket attack since the Lebanese resistance group opened up the front against the Zionist entity in support of Gaza on October 8, 2023.
Israeli media described Wednesday’s strikes as the largest in terms of rocket type and number since the beginning of the war.
So far on Wednesday, Hezbollah staged 10 operations, many of them in response to the Israeli assassination that killed a Hezbollah commander and other fighters and in the town of Jwayya.

In the first strike, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted Ruweisat Al-Qarn site in the occupied Lebanese Shebaa Farms with rocket fire at 9:30, achieving a direct hit, Hezbollah Military Media announced in a statement.
Simultaneously, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted Al-Ramtha site in the occupied Lebanese Kfar Shuba Hills with rocket weapons, achieving a direct hit, the second statement read.
The Islamic Resistance fighters then targeted Plasan military industries company specialized in armoring and protecting vehicles and machinery for the enemy army in Sasa settlement with guided missiles, inflicting a direct hit, the third statement read.
The fourth strike saw the Islamic Resistance fighters bombarding the command headquarters of the Northern Corps in Ein Zeitim base with tens of Katyusha rockets.
The Islamic Resistance fighters also bombarded the reserve command headquarters of the Northern Corps at the standby base of the Galilee Division and its warehouses in “Amiad” with tens of Katyusha rockets, the fifth statement read.
The sixth strike targeted the Air Operations Management on the northern direction at Meron base with tens of Katyusha rockets and artillery shells, according to Hezbollah Military Media.
The Islamic Resistance fighters then, at 10:30, targeted Al-Samaqa site in the occupied Lebanese hills of Kfar Shuba with rocket weapons, inflicting direct hits, the seventh statement read.
Few minutes later, at 10:35, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted Ramya site with artillery shells, according to the eighth statement.
The eighth strike concurred with the ninth one that saw the Islamic Resistance fighters targeting Al-Raheb site with artillery shells.
The Islamic Resistance fighters then targeted Zar’it barracks with artillery shells, the tenth statement read.
According to the eleventh statement, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted, at 12:15 pm on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, the espionage equipment at Ruweisat Al-Alam site in the occupied Lebanese hills of Kfar Shouba with appropriate weapons, inflicting direct hits.
The twelfth statement mentioned that, following surveillance and monitoring of the enemy forces at Al-Malkiya site, and upon detecting the movement of soldiers inside, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted them at 2:15 pm on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, with artillery shells, achieving direct hits.
The thirteenth statement maintained that, in response to the assassination carried out by the Zionist enemy in the town of Jouwayya, resulting in civilian casualties, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted the “Israeli” enemy’s artillery bunkers in Khirbet Ma’ar and the deployment of soldiers in its vicinity with Katyusha rockets at 05:00 pm on Wednesday, June 12, 2024.
In response to the assassination carried out by the Zionist enemy in the town of Jouwayya resulting in civilian casualties, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted, at 05:05 pm on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, the Hadab Yarin site with Burkan rockets and directly hit it, according to the fourteenth statement.
The fifteenth statement underscored that the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted, at 05:30 pm on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, Hanita site with artillery shells and directly hit it.
The sixteenth statement affirmed that the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted, at 05:35 pm on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, Jal Al-Allam site with artillery shells and directly hit it.
The seventeenth statement underscored that, as part of the response to the assassination carried out by the Zionist enemy in the town of Jouwayya resulting in civilian casualties, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted, at 05:40 pm on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, Birket Risha site with Burkan rockets achieving direct hits.
The eighteenth statement mentioned that the air defense unit of the Islamic Resistance on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, confronted a hostile Zionist warplane that violated Lebanese airspace with an air-to-surface missile which was launched at it, forcing the aircraft to retreat towards occupied Palestine and immediately leave Lebanese airspace.
The nineteenth statement pointed out that, as part of the response to the attack and assassination carried out by the Zionist enemy in the town of Jouwayya and injuring civilians, the Islamic Resistance launched an aerial attack using a swarm of assault drones on the Habushit barracks (headquarters of a company from Hermon Brigade 810) targeting the locations where the barracks’ officers and soldiers were stationed and achieving their targets accurately.
Israeli media confirmed Hezbollah strikes, saying at least 215 rockets were fired since morning on Wednesday.
The Times of Israel also reported at least three fires in three locations as result of Hezbollah attacks.
