Hezbollah carried out several strikes on northern Israeli settlements on Tuesday, with Israeli media circulating photos and videos showing serious damage in a number of structures.
The first strike was carried out overnight at 00:45, when Hezbollah’s Islamic Resistance fighters targeted a building used by Israeli enemy forces in Shomera settlement with appropriate weapons, a statement by the resistance party’s Military Media announced.
The strike was simultaneous with another that also targeted a building used by Israeli enemy forces in the settlement of Shlomi, the second statement read, stressing that direct hits were achieved.
Israeli media reported significant damage to a structure in the northern settlement of Betzet, which is located just near Shlomi, adding that it was hit by rocket fire from Lebanon overnight.
Another video showed damage to an agricultural area, with the Walla news site reporting that high-tension electricity cables were severed as a result of the attack.
Later at 10:15, the Islamic Resistance fighters hit two structures used by Israeli enemy forces in Avivim, the third statement released by the Lebanese resistance group read.
Israeli media reported the strike on Avivim, saying that a winery structure was hit, causing a fire. Videos circulated on social media showed the structure in Avivim bursting into flames.
The statements said the first three strikes were “in support of our resilient Palestinian people in Gaza and in solidarity with their brave and honorable resistance, and in response to the Zionist aggressions on the steadfast southern villages and civilian homes.”
The fourth and fifth strikes saw Hezbollah weapons targeting Israeli gatherings around Branit Barracks, the statements read, noting that the strikes were “in support of our steadfast Palestinian people in Gaza and in endorsement of their brave and honorable resistance.”
Later at 11:10, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted Meron Air Base with guided missiles, achieving direct hits, the sixth statement read, noting that the strike was “in support of our steadfast Palestinian people in Gaza, in solidarity with their courageous and honorable resistance, in response to the Zionist enemy’s aggression on the town of Al-Suweiri and as a continuation of the response to the attack on the city of Baalbeck.”
Israeli occupation military announced the strike, saying: “Projectiles, apparently anti-tank missiles, were fired from Lebanon at the military’s sensitive Mount Meron air traffic control base a short while ago.”
The seventh statement declared that the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted an Israeli infantry force in the vicinity of Shtula at 11:00 with missile weapons, causing direct casualties. It noted that the strike was in “support of our steadfast Palestinian people in Gaza and in solidarity with their courageous and honorable resistance.”
According to the eighth statement, the Islamic Resistance fighters at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, a Zionist infantry force in Hanita forest with artillery shells, hitting the target directly.
The ninth statement indicated that the Islamic Resistance fighters at 2:50 p.m. on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, a deployment of Zionist soldiers in Hanita settlement with artillery shells.
The tenth statement affirmed that, at 4:20 p.m. on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, the Islamic Resistance fighters fired over 50 Katyusha missiles at Yarden Israeli barracks (command headquarters during wars) in occupied Syrian Golan in response to the Zionist aggression on Bekaa.
The eleventh statement mentioned that the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted, at 05:05 pm on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, a military force of “Israeli” enemy soldiers in the vicinity of Zibdeen Barracks in the occupied Lebanese Shebaa Farms, using appropriate weapons, inflicting direct hits.
The twelfth statement indicated that the Islamic Resistance fightere targeted, at 05:30 pm on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, a gathering of “Israeli” enemy soldiers in the vicinity of Ruwaisat Al-Alam site in the occupied Lebanese hills of Kfar Shuba, using missile weapons, inflicting direct hits.
