The Islamic Resistance in Iraq has launched a series of targeted attacks against Israeli interests in response to the Zionist aggression on Gaza.
In a statement issued on Thursday, the group claimed responsibility for a drone strike on a power plant in Tel Aviv, located in the occupied Palestinian territories.
This action, carried out on March 21, 2024, is part of a larger effort to resist the occupation and support the people of Gaza in the face of the Zionist massacres against Palestinian civilians.
This latest attack follows similar actions, including a drone strike on the Israeli Ben Gurion Airport on March 20 and a previous attack on the same airport on March 12.
Additionally, the resistance has targeted other vital installations in the occupied territories, such as oil refineries in Haifa and a military barracks at the Israeli Rosh Pina Airport.
The Islamic Resistance in Iraq announced the beginning of the second phase of its operations against the occupation on January 24. This announcement came amidst escalating tensions, including the targeting of the headquarters of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces by the United States.
