On the 127th day of Israel’s occupation aggression against the Gaza Strip, the region continues to be targeted by land, sea, and air attacks, resulting in a devastating toll on its citizens. More than 27,840 people have been martyred and 67,300 wounded, with thousands of victims trapped under rubble and obstructed ambulances from reaching them.
At dawn today, a deadly Israeli bombing struck several areas in the Gaza Strip, claiming a number of civilian lives and leaving others wounded. In Rafah, at least 18 citizens were killed in an attack on a house in the Al-Nasr neighborhood, while three more lost their lives in another bombing in the Al-Geneina neighborhood.
Médecins Sans Frontières says it is deeply concerned about the safety and wellbeing of the nearly 1.5 million Palestinians who are currently living in that region as Israel is planing for a major operation in Rafah.
