A 13-year-old Palestinian boy, Aysam Mualla, was pronounced dead on Tuesday evening after fighting for his life for nearly a month. He sustained critical injuries from Israeli occupation forces’ tear gas while harvesting olives with his family near the town of Beita, south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank.

Local sources reported that Mualla had been undergoing treatment at a Nablus hospital after suffering severe complications from the tear gas inhalation 31 days ago near Mount Qammas.
His death raises the grim toll of Palestinians killed by Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank since the start of the year to 236. This figure includes 43 children and 6 women.

Separate Incidents See More Youth Wounded
In a separate event on Tuesday, a young girl was injured after being assaulted and detained by Israeli occupation soldiers at the entrance of the al-Fawwar refugee camp, south of al-Khalil.
According to local sources, the soldiers detained Aya Jaber, interrogated her, and physically assaulted her before later releasing her. She was transferred to Dura Hospital for treatment, suffering from multiple contusions.

Meanwhile, in the town of Aqaba, north of Tubas, a young man was shot and injured when Israeli occupation forces opened live fire on Palestinian youths. The clashes broke out after Israeli troops stormed Tubas City and Aqaba town, firing live ammunition and stun grenades at youths who responded by throwing stones.
Palestinian Red Crescent paramedics provided the wounded man with first aid on the scene before he was transported to a hospital for further care.
