Like every year in Ashura season, Imam Hussein (AS) banners and other black signs are being raised across Lebanese cities and towns.
On Friday, a video showing Ashura banners being raised in the southern Lebanese border town of Yaroun went viral on social media. The video shows the banners being faced with Israeli flags in occupied Palestine.
Al-Manar correspondent in south Lebanon Ali Shoeib said Israeli occupation forces in the facing Al-Hadab Israeli post were on alert as the banners were raised in Yaroun.
It’s clear that the video was taken by a drone, as the photos below show an unmanned aerial vehicle operating over the area.
In his Ashura address last Saturday, Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah renewed allegiance to Imam Hussein (AS), vowing to keep his path and to confront tyrant schemes threatening the Muslim Ummah (nation).
