Three Syrians were martyred in a new Israeli aggression Friday on some points to the south of Damascus.
SANA news agency quoted a military source as saying that Israeli occupation military struck targets using surface-to-surface missiles near Damascus.
“At nearly 11 p.m. on Friday, the Israeli enemy carried out an aggression with surface-to-surface missiles from the direction of occupied Syrian Golan, targeting some points in south of Damascus as the Army air defenses intercepted the missiles’ aggression and downed most of them,” the source said in a statement.
The source added that three people were martyred in the aggression that also caused material losses.
A Twitter account tracking Israeli attacks in Syria reported the strikes targeted sites in the suburb of Sayyedah Zaynab, south of Damascus.
Syria’s Sham FM radio station said a fire had ignited near Damascus International Airport, southeast of the city, as a result of the strikes.
