Nine civilians, including five members of one family, have been killed in bombing and an air strike by the Saudi-led coalition in war-torn Yemen, local sources said Monday.
An air strike by the Saudi-led coalition hit on Sunday a house in the province of Marib, east of the capital Sanaa, killing five members of the same family, a military officials told AFP.
It took place in the village of Wadi Habab, in Sarwah region, a major front in the Saudi war on Yemen.
Meanwhile, four civilians, including three children, were killed Sunday in Saudi-led mercenaries bombing that targeted residential areas in the southwestern city of Taiz, a local official and medical sources said.
Yemen has been since March 26, 2015 under brutal aggression by Saudi-led coalition. Thousands have been martyred and injured in the attack, with the vast majority of them are civilians.
Riyadh launched the attack on Yemen in a bid to restore power to fugitive ex-president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi who is a close ally to Saudi Arabia.
