Lebanon Records on Sunday 314 new coronavirus cases and 2 related deaths, Health Ministry announced.

In its daily report, the ministry said that 279 new infections were registered among local residents in the country in the last 24 hours, while the other 35 cases were imported.

The new infections take the total cases recorded in Lebanon since February 2020 to 547,811, according to the report.

The ministry added that 2 coronavirus-related fatalities were registered over the past 24 hours, taking that death toll nationwide from the respiratory disease to 7,875.
