UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Anwar Gargash described dialogue with the Zionist entity as “positive thing”, voicing his country’s support of US participation in the so-called peace settlement between the Palestinians and Israelis.
At a press conference on Wednesday evening, Gargash said: “We support the US participation in Israeli-Palestinians peace process.”
“Dialogue with Israel is a positive thing. It doesn’t mean political agreement with the Israelis.”
“We want Palestinian state with East Al-Quds its capital,” the UAE official added.
Meanwhile, Gargash said his country was working with its partners to conclude the investigation into ‘acts of sabotage’ against four oil tankers off the coast of Fujairah on Sunday.
He added the country will show ‘restraint’ and is committed to de-escalation during a “difficult situation caused by Iranian behavior in the region.”
Speaking on Yemen, Gargash said the Saudi-led coalition, which has been for more than four years launching brutal aggression on Yemen and UAE is a member of, will “retaliate hard” for any attacks by Houthi revolutionaries on targets in Saudi Arabia, referring to attacks by Houthi drones on oil facilities in the kingdom last Monday.
