The Lebanese House Speaker Nabih Berri criticized the government for not contacting the Syrian authorities to end the crisis of the displaced Syrians in Lebanon during a dinner Monday at the Lebanese Embassy in Amman.
“Our government is burying its head in the sand and is not speaking to Syria about the refugee returns and the [Nassib] border crossing … as well as Syria’s reconstruction plans.”
