Palestinian Resistance Movement, Hamas, warned on Tuesday that the Zionist entity will pay high price over desecration of Al-Aqsa holy mosque.
In a statement released on Tuesday, Hamas said: “Israeli government’s gradual attempts to change the Muslim identity of the Holy Al-Aqsa Mosque will have serious repercussions.”
“The occupation will pay high price over desecration of Al-Aqsa Mosque.,” the Palestinian resistance group threatened.
“We are before a savage campaign launched by occupation authorities in Al-Quds in a bid to prevent Islamic endowment from performing its authority on the holy mosque.”
Hamas’ statement on Tuesday comes as Zionist authorities go ahead with provocations in Al-Aqsa Mosque. On Monday, Israeli occupation forces prevented Muslim worshipers from getting into the Dome of the Rock and assaulted Imam of Aqsa Mosque, Sheikh Omar al-Kiswani.
Earlier on the day, IOF also accompanied Israeli Agriculture Minister Uri Ariel as he toured the holy mosque’s squares.
