Dozens have been martyred and injured after Saudi warplanes targeted a Yemeni wedding ceremony late on Sunday.
According to Yemen’s Arabic-language al-Masirah television network on Sunday, at least 20 people were martyred and 40 others were injured in the airstrikes which took place in the country’s Hajjah province.
The Yemeni network said that the toll is expected to rise, with many of victims were still under the rubble.
The Saudi jets also carried out raids on ambulances trying to transport the wounded from the attack to local hospitals.
Yemen has been since March 25, 2015 under a brutal aggression by Saudi-led coalition, which also includes UAE, Bahrain, Egypt, Morocco, Jordan, Sudan and Kuwait, in a bid to restore power to fugitive former president Abdrabbuh Mansour Hadi.
Tens of thousands of Yemenis have been injured and martyred in Saudi-led strikes, with the vast majority of them are civilians.
