Three Palestinians were killed and nine others injured Monday when the Zionist army blew up a tunnel stretching from the Gaza Strip into the occupied territory, the health ministry in the Hamas-run enclave said.

Three Palestinian martyrs, including Ahmed Abu Armanah, died and nine others were hurt in the explosion, health ministry spokesman Ashraf al-Qudra said in a statement.

A security source said the men were members of Islamic Jihad, a resistance group.
