Iraqi Prime Minister Haider Al-Abadi said his country has foiled attempts of division, noting that Peshmerga Kurdish forces have been cooperating with the Iraqi Federal Police.
In his weekly conference on Tuesday, Abadi said Peshmerga forces have not responded to call of escalation and cooperated with Federal police.
“Iraq has foiled attempts of division,” Abadi said.
The Iraqi PM announced he will visit Iran and Turkey for talks about the region, hailing the role played by Iraq in the region.
