After its successive defeats in Mosul battle, ISIL takfiri group urgently decided to move thermal missiles, suicide bombers and fighters to reinforce its Qairawan and Baaj fronts in western Mosul, Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Forces’ (PMF) document revealed.
PMF intelligence agency’s document added that ISIL command in Syria also sent three senior commanders to lead the terrorist group’s battles in Qairawan and Baaj and that it considers any defeat in that area as strategic.
The Iraqi army, supported by PMF and allies, have liberated most of the territories which were held by ISIL militants in 2014. After the Iraqi forces completely regain Mosul city from the takfiri group, the latter would have lost entirely its battle in Iraq.
