Israeli far-right security minister Itamar Ben Gvir and dozens of extremist Jewish settlers desecrated the Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem on Tuesday morning.

According to media sources, 243 settlers, including Ben Gvir, entered the Mosque and toured its courtyards under police guard in the morning.

Ben Gvir and a number of settlers provocatively performed Talmudic prayers during their presence in the Islamic holy site.

The Israeli occupation police reportedly restricted the entry of Muslim worshipers to their holy site as settlers and Ben Gvir were touring its courtyards, and imposed restrictions on Palestinians’ access to the Old City of Jerusalem.

Over 850 settlers defiled the Mosque’s courtyards on Tuesday, the seventh and final day of the Sukkot holiday.

Since the Sukkot holiday started, over 6,900 Jewish settlers have desecrated the Aqsa Mosque’s courtyards, according to Jerusalemite sources.
