Around six hours after the Lebanese President Joseph underlined the “necessity of reaching peace in the region” and asked the government of ‘Israel’ if it wants a permanent and fair peace in his address to the Arab-Islamic Summit in Qatar, the Zionist war jets targeted a residential building in Nabatieh City, South Lebanon.

14 injuries, including women and children, were left by the Israeli aggression which reflected the Zionist insistence on the path of barbarism in response to any call for peace.

Member of Loyalty to Resistance parliamentary bloc, Hasan Jichi, inspected the injured at hospitals and the scene of the attack, holding the ceasefire sponsor states responsible.

MP Jichi called on the Lebanese government to protect the civilians instead of taking decisions that encourage the enemy to commit more crimes, adding that the raid on Nabatieh is an Israeli answer to President Aoun’s call for peace.

It is worth noting that September 16 marks the anniversary of Sabra & Shatila Massacre carried out by the Zionist enemy and its allied traitors in Lebanon in 1982. The anniversary refers to the woes that may happen when one relinquishes the military power.
