Hezbollah announced on Tuesday a series of services to mark the first martyrdom anniversary of the party’s Secretary Generals Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah and Sayyed Hashem Safieddine.
In a press conference in Beirut, Head of Hezbollah’s Media Activities Department Sheikh Ali Daher declared that the slogan of the occasion will be the same as that adopted during the funeral of the two great martyrs last February: “We Shall Keep the Covenant.”
“A comprehensive package of events and activities will be launched starting September 25 and continuing until October 12,” Sheikh Daher said, in remarks carried by Al-Manar.

On September 25, Beirut’s Raouche Rock will be illuminated with projections of Sayyed Nasrallah and Sayyed Safieddine’s portraits from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, the Hezbollah official stated, noting that the event will also include maritime activities.
Also on September 25, the Islamic Radio and Television Union will have an open day to mark the occasion, according to Sheikh Daher.
Regarding September 27, the day when Sayyed Nasrallah embraced martyrdom in 2024, Sheikh Daher announced that an official and central ceremony will be held simultaneously between the shrines of the three Hezbollah Secretary Generals, Sayyed Nasrallah, Sayyed Safeiddine and Sayyed Abbas Al-Moussawi, who was martyred in 1992.
Current Hezbollah Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem will address the ceremony, according to Sheikh Daher.
At 18:21 on September 27, the time when Sayyed Nasrallah embraced martyrdom, the Lebanese regions will witness popular sit-ins to mark the occasion, Sheikh Daher told the press conference.
