At least 68 Palestinians were killed and 362 others were injured in the Gaza Strip over the last 24 hours as a result of the ongoing Israeli genocide in the region, according to medical sources.
Local health authorities confirmed that the Palestinian death toll from the Israeli onslaught since October 2023 has risen to 64,368 fatalities, with an additional 162,367 people sustaining injuries. The majority of the victims are women and children.
Hospitals also recorded six additional deaths from starvation and severe malnutrition in the last 24 hours, raising the total number of starvation-related fatalities in the region to 382, including 135 children.
Emergency services are still unable to reach many casualties and dead bodies trapped under the rubble or scattered on roads across the war-torn enclave, as Israeli occupation forces continue to target ambulance and civil defense crews, according to the health authorities.
Israeli genocidal onslaught continues undeterred despite calls from the United Nations Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
The Palestinian resistance continued confronting the Israeli occupation forces in Gaza as Al-Qassam Brigades announced targeting 3 Merkava tanks in Al-Zeitoun neighborhood.
