Al-Qassam Brigades announced that its fighters managed to raid an Israeli occupation site in southeastern Khan Younis, South of Gaza.
An infantry force stormed the newly-established site, targeting Merkava IV tanks and raiding houses where the Israeli soldiers had already resorted, Al-Qassam added.
Al-Qassam statement noted the fighters killed a number of Israeli soldiers and sniped a Merkava IV tank driver, inflicting a deadly injury upon him.
Upon the arrival of the Zionist rescue force, one of Al-Qassam fighters blew himself up into the enemy troops, killing a number of soldiers, the statement added, which noted that the attack lasted for hours.
The Zionist media confirmed several soldiers were killed in Al-Qassam attack on one of the occupation site in Khan Younis, adding that the target was capturing soldiers.
The Israeli media affirmed that the attack was organized and unprecedented, adding that around 14 fighters exited from a well under the site and opened fire.
