The Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF) announced Thursday that they carried out an operation targeting Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv using a Palestine 2 hypersonic missile, describing the strike as both a show of support for Gaza and retaliation for what they called crimes by the Israeli occupation.
In an official statement, the YAF confirmed the operation. Spokesperson Brig. Gen. Yahya Saree said the mission “successfully met its objectives,” adding that “millions of Zionists fled to shelters, and airport operations were suspended” after the attack.

The statement described the operation as “support for the oppressed Palestinian people, and a response to the genocide and crimes of starvation committed by the Israeli enemy in the Gaza Strip.”
Earlier in the day, Israeli media reported explosions near the airport after the Israeli army claimed it had detected a missile launch from Yemen.
Saree affirmed that “the Yemeni Armed Forces continue to monitor developments on the ground in Gaza,” and indicated “confidence in the ability of the Palestinian factions to thwart the Zionist enemy’s plans to occupy the Strip and displace its people, as happened in previous operations.” Saree emphasized that “Yemen will continue its support and assistance to the Palestinian resistance with all available capabilities, while escalating operations until the aggression stops and the siege on Gaza is lifted.”
