Israeli occupation forces continued on Tuesday their attacks on Lebanese territory in a continuous violation of the ceasefire agreement signed since November 2024, targeting areas in the south and Bekaa, which resulted in the martyrdom of one person and widespread fires in forests and agricultural areas.
Early today, the occupation army carried out two large explosions in the “Khanouq” area of the town of Aitaroun in southern Lebanon. Al-Manar correspondent reported that an enemy drone dropped a bomb on the town of Al-Dahirah in southern Lebanon.
Regarding the fires, most of those that broke out yesterday in the areas of Jarmaq and Aishiyeh in Jezzine have subsided, while fires have continued to rage in Rihane and Aramta. This has necessitated efforts from the civil defense teams to control and contain their spread.
A Lebanese citizen was martyred yesterday as a result of a drone attack by the Israeli entity on his car on the Baisariya highway in the Sidon district in southern Lebanon. The occupation forces also carried out two large explosions targeting buildings in the eastern neighborhood of the town of Houla in southern Lebanon. The attack resulted in extensive damage to the targeted area.
These attacks come within the context of ongoing Israeli violations of Lebanese sovereignty, amidst a suspicious international silence regarding the repeated crimes targeting civilians and infrastructure.”
