The Israeli enemy staged a series of powerful strikes on south Lebanon late Wednesday, killing one person and injuring two others, in a new violation of the ceasefire which ended the brutal Israeli war in late 2024.
Al-Manar correspondent reported powerful strikes on areas of Ansar, Al-Mahmoudiyeh, Al-Breij in Jbaa and Wadi Berghoz in Hasbaya.
Elsewhere in the town of Deir Seryan, an Israeli warplane struck an area in the outskirts of the town. The strike was followed by other strikes carried out by a drone which launched five missiles on the same area, our correspondent reported.
The following photos show the bulldozers and vehicles destroyed by the Israeli enemy under the pretext of targeting missiles and missile launchers in Deir Seryan.
The strikes led to martyrdom of one person of Syrian nationality and the injury of two others, Lebanese Health Ministry announced on Thursday.

The Israeli enemy continues to bomb Lebanon, mainly the country’s south, almost daily and maintains occupation over five posts along the southern border, in violation of a ceasefire deal reached following a brutal 66-day Israeli war between September and November 2024.
At least 230 Lebanese people have been martyred in the Israeli attacks since the ceasefire took effect on November 27, 2024.
The Lebanese Government tasked the Lebanese Army on Tuesday with drafting a plan to confine all weapons to the State by the end of the year. Hezbollah and Amal Movement ministers withdrew from the Government session in rejection of the decision.
The Lebanese State is subjected to unprecedented pressure by the United States, the first sponsor of the Zionist entity, to tackle the issue of “disarming Hezbollah.”
In a televised speech on Tuesday, Hezbollah Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem stressed that the resistance weaponry is a constitutional issue that requires consensus, affirming that Hezbollah will continue defending Lebanon against the Israeli aggression.
Hezbollah issued a statement on Wednesday, in which it declared that the resistance party will deal with the decision “as though it does not exist.”
The statement maintained that the decision weakens Lebanon’s capabilities and position in the face of ongoing American-Israeli aggression, and grants ‘Israel’ what it failed to achieve through its war on Lebanon. It added that the decision contradicts with the National Pact, President Joseph Aoun’s inauguration speech, and the ministerial statement.
