Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Wednesday crossed the border of occupied Palestine into the Lebanese territories on Wednesday and carried out inspection operation and arrested two people.
Al-Manar correspondent in south Lebanon reported that an Israeli infantry force, consisting of 20 soldiers crossed the border at dawn on Wednesday into the outskirts of Al-Abbasiya border town towards the area of Rayhanat Berri in Al-Mari Plain.
The occupation forces inspected the area and raided both inhabited and abandoned houses, our correspondent reported, adding that they interrogated a number of Lebanese citizens and Syrian workers.
The IOF captured two Syrian workers while retreating into occupied Palestine. The occupation forces later released the Syrians near the border, Al-Manar reporter added.
The Israeli enemy continues to bomb southern Lebanon almost daily and maintains occupation over five posts along the southern border, in violation of a ceasefire deal reached following a brutal 66-day Israeli war between September and November 2024.

The Zionist occupation has also struck Beirut four times since the ceasefire agreement was sealed on November 27, 2024.
