The Israeli occupation army has intensified what Palestinian officials describe as a continuing genocidal war against Gaza, with at least 29 Palestinians killed in heavy airstrikes on Sunday across several areas of the Strip. The dead include 18 people in the Al-Nuseirat refugee camp, according to Gaza’s Civil Defense.
Civil Defense spokesperson Mahmoud Basal confirmed that rescue crews and medics recovered the bodies of the victims and treated scores of wounded amid “relentless Israeli bombardment targeting civilians in their homes, shelters, and gathering points.”
Deadly Strikes Across the Strip
In northern Gaza, six Palestinians were martyred when Israeli warplanes bombed a residential home in Al-Shati camp. Separately, two others were martyred in a drone strike targeting an apartment in the Al-Sabra neighborhood of Gaza City.
In the central region, nine members of the Arabid family were killed in an airstrike on their home west of Al-Nuseirat. In another attack on the same camp, eight Palestinians—including six children—were killed when Israeli forces bombed a water collection point. At least 16 others were wounded.
Further south, in Khan Younis, three Palestinians were martyred in a strike on a tent housing displaced families in the Al-Mawasi area.

Netanyahu Under Pressure as Ceasefire Talks Stall
As the bombardment continues, Zionist Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is under mounting pressure both domestically and internationally. He confirmed that the Israeli occupation is weighing a proposal for a 60-day ceasefire and the release of half of the hostages held in Gaza—a deal currently being negotiated through indirect talks in Doha.
However, internal divisions are widening within the ruling coalition. The so-called National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich have warned they may quit the government if any ceasefire agreement is reached.

Netanyahu, already facing an investigation by the International Criminal Court for alleged war crimes in Gaza, is being accused by Israeli opposition leaders of prioritizing his political survival over the lives of Israeli hostages.
Thousands of Israelis have taken to the streets, demanding an immediate end to the war and a full prisoner-exchange agreement. The Hostage Families Forum said time is running out, warning that failure to act now would be an “unforgivable betrayal.”
