As the Israeli aggression enters its 43rd day, Israeli occupation forces continue their relentless assault on the Gaza Strip, reigniting violence after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s withdrawal from a ceasefire agreement. Reports indicate that Israeli occupation forces have launched numerous airstrikes, targeting homes and exacerbating the dire humanitarian situation, with a severe ban on essential food supplies since early March contributing to a looming famine for residents.
On Monday night, at least five individuals, including three children, lost their lives, and over 40 others were injured due to Israeli artillery fire aimed at tents housing displaced families in the Al-Iqlimiya area near Khan Yunis. Local ambulances rushed to the scene, transporting victims to British Hospital and the Red Cross.

In addition to the shelling, the Israeli army demolished residential buildings while also targeting eastern Gaza City with artillery strikes. Naval vessels fired on locations off the coast of Rafah, further intensifying the assault. Artillery shells landed near the “Abbad al-Rahman” Mosque on al-Sikka Street in the al-Zeitoun neighborhood.
The Israeli aggression continued in Khan Yunis, where two young men, Hamza Muhammad Suleiman Zaqmat (22) and Muhammad Nabil Suleiman Saqr (26), were killed during the bombardment of the Qizan al-Najjar area.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported on Monday that 14 of the martyrs were recovered, while the rest were newly martyred in the occupation’s raids.
It indicated that the death toll and injuries since March 18, 2025, has reached 2,222 martyrs and 5,751 wounded.
It confirmed that the death toll from the Israeli aggression has risen to 52,314 martyrs and 117,792 wounded since October 7, 2023.
