Intense Israeli airstrikes and artillery shelling continue to strike vast areas across the Gaza Strip, causing widespread destruction, including the demolition of homes. The ongoing aggression, now in its 22nd day, has left dozens of martyrs and injured in its wake as part of Israel’s comprehensive assault and genocidal war on the enclave.
Dozens of Palestinians Martyred in 24 Hours
Palestinian medical sources reported that 60 Palestinians were martyred due to Israeli airstrikes and artillery fire on Gaza over the past 24 hours.
Among the martyrs was Palestinian journalist Ahmad Mansour, who succumbed to his severe injuries and burns from an airstrike that targeted a journalists’ tent near Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yunis, southern Gaza.
Former Palestinian Al-Ahly Club player Abdul Nasser Khadra was also martyred in an airstrike that targeted a gathering of civilians in Al-Nasr Street, west of Gaza City.

At least five martyrs, including Abdullah Washah, Ibrahim Abu Zayda, Suhaib Rayan, and Aboud Rayan, were killed in an Israeli airstrike targeting a group of Palestinians near the Ship Building in northwest Gaza City.
Casualties in Northern Gaza
In northern Gaza, six Palestinians were martyred, some dismembered, following an Israeli airstrike on the Ayash family’s home in Beit Lahiya. The martyrs were identified as Yusuf Abdul Rahim Ayash, Abdul Rahman Abdul Rahim Ayash, Abdul Rahim Muhammad Yusuf Ayash, Masa Abdul Rahim Muhammad Ayash, Misk Abdul Rahim Muhammad Ayash, and Maha Abdul Rahman Saeed Ayash.

A martyr and another severely injured were reported following an Israeli drone strike on a group of Palestinians in the Mirage area, north of Rafah. Israeli occupation forces also continued shelling the city and carried out airstrikes on the northern areas of Rafah.
Casualties in Central Gaza and Continued Destruction
In central Gaza, nine Palestinians were martyred in an Israeli airstrike that targeted the Sabah family’s home in western Deir al-Balah.
Six more Palestinians were martyred in an Israeli strike on a food distribution center on Al-Khamsa Street, northwest of Khan Yunis. Additionally, two Palestinians from the Abu Mohsen family were killed near an internet point in Rafah.
Israeli occupation forces continued to destroy homes near the Moraj axis between Rafah and Khan Yunis, while the central Gaza region, especially Deir al-Balah, witnessed a series of violent airstrikes.
Targeted Attacks on Gaza’s Neighborhoods
Israeli occupation army vehicles opened fire on Palestinian homes in the Shujaiya neighborhood, east of Gaza City, particularly targeting the Al-Muntar and Souq al-Jomaa areas. In addition, heavy artillery shelled the Shujaiya and Zaytoun neighborhoods in Gaza City and the Nusseirat camp in central Gaza.
Journalists Among the Victims
In related news, the Government Media Office in Gaza reported that the number of journalists martyred has risen to 211, following the martyrdom of journalist Ahmad Mansour. Journalist Helmy Al-Faqaawi and another Palestinian were also martyred, and nine others were injured.

The Media Office strongly condemned the targeted killings and assassinations of Palestinian journalists by Israeli occupation forces.
It called on the International Federation of Journalists, the Arab Journalists Union, and press bodies worldwide to denounce these systematic crimes against Palestinian journalists in Gaza.
The office also held the Israeli occupation, the US administration, and countries complicit in the genocide accountable. It called for international pressure to stop the ongoing genocide and to protect journalists in Gaza, urging immediate action to halt the killings and assassinations of media workers in the region.
