The Israeli enemy struck Beirut at dawn on Saturday, killing or injuring dozens of people in a massive raid that saw bunker busting bombs being thrown on a residential area in the Lebanese capital.
Al-Manar correspondent said the strike killed or injured dozens of citizens in the area of Al-Basta, noting that two 8-story buildings were totally destroyed in the attack.
Lebanese Health Ministry said 11 people were martyred and 63 others were wounded, while Civil Defense announced that search operations could take several days because of the massive strike.
The strike left three crater, at least 8 meters each, and massive damage in the nearby buildings, our correspondent said.

Local media reported that at least 4 bunker busting bombs were used in the attack, which was felt in areas near Beirut, reaching the southern city of Sidon.
Earlier, the Israeli warplanes launched series of air strikes on Beirut’s Dahiyeh, southern suburb, whose neighborhood have been subjected to massive destruction since the Israeli aggression on Lebanon started on September 2024.
The strikes late Friday hit residential areas of Beer Al-Abed in Haret Hreik, Chiah and Ghobeiry.
In its latest update, issued on Friday, Lebanese Health Ministry announced that the number of martyrs reached 3,645 and that the number of injured surpassed 15,350 since September 23.
